Why We Need Protein?

 

Protein is a vital nutrient our body requires. When comes to healthy eating, though all the nutrients are important to our body, without protein for a single day our body will not be as strong as we required. Number of diet sources contain protein. A healthier diet should not miss protein.

 

Protein cannot be stored in the body, as such we need to take protein rich food daily. As it cannot be stored it may arise some problems if our body if not feed with sufficient protein daily. Our body has no back-up plan to produce protein on its own. So your balanced diet should contain protein. Taking too much protein is also not good.

 

Protein helps muscle building. This is the main reason why body builders are more concerned with protein. Tiny tears are created in the muscles when weight lifting is done. Proteins repair these healthy tears and build the muscle slightly bigger with every workout. Just like fat, muscles provide

 

energy and this caused deterioration in the muscles even if you are not working out. Muscles won't get rebuild if there is lack of protein intake and leads to health problems.

 

Another important function of protein is the maintenance of hormones. Hormones play crucial role in organ function, stimulation, metabolism and mood state. Proteins are used in the making of some of these hormones. Inadequate protein in our body will make the whole body suffer.

 

Take protein rich foods daily. Beef, chicken, pork, egg, fish and vegetarian foods like beans, nuts, soy products contain more protein. Supply your body the necessary protein it needs daily to keep your body healthily.
