Why Warm Up Is A Must?

An exercise routine is a must to have some physical activities daily and to keep fit. Warm up must prelude any exercise routine. Getting injured while doing exercise routine is a possibility if you skip the warm up. Many people find it difficult to practice an exercise routine due to busy schedule. The lack of time tempted them to skip the warm up routine resulting in injury. Warm up not only eliminates the risk of injury but also helps to make the workout easy and effective. Warm up every time before working out, to get best results.

Any decent workout has to be five minutes long to have its effect. Your warming up need not eat up the time you have allotted for your routine workout. It won't be boring if you mix up a number of different moves. Instead of thinking your warming up as a waste think it as a fun and enjoy doing it. Warm-up activates your nervous system

 

and gets all your muscles moving. In our daily life due to work nature we will not be stretching all our muscles. Warm-up activates all the muscles and is good to our body. Warming up can't be neglected whether you are doing cardiovascular exercises or lifting weights.

Make Warming Up A Simple Routine

Make your warmup a simple routine and do not complicate it with difficult moves. The aim of warm up is to make your body ready to do the workout by slowly moving the muscles that you haven't really thought of wake them up. Jogging in place, lunging, jacks, jumping and jumping rope are some of the warm up moves you can use. Stretching your muscles in a variety of ways is another way of doing warm up routine. This is more effective for a cool down.

 

If you plan your routine you need not allot extra time to do the warming up. If you are going to a gym regularly you can jog or power walk to the gym. Instead of using the elevator use the stairs. You can do the same when you are going to a park or a walking stretch. In this way you can almost finish your warm up routine before you reach your exercise spot.

 

Weight loss workouts or any other workouts are risky only when you skip the warm up routine. Warming up makes the body flexible to do the workouts and make your body respond to avoid unnecessary injuries. Skipping the warm up is not advisable as it will cause injuries and your workout will not be hundred percent effective.
