Healthy diet and exercise plan go hand-in-hand and we cannot see them separately. Having nutritional diet has gained more value in the present day lifestyle. Most of the families in USA are taking less home cooked foods and more ready to eat foods. We lack balanced diet. As diet and exercise go along together, care should be taken to have a nutritional diet daily.

 

Strength, muscle endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular health are the four important benefits of doing exercise and diet won't give these things on its own. A good balanced diet is to have a physical part also to extract its whole benefits. Your exercise benefits will get affected if bad diet is taken. Even if you follow the best exercise regime, you cannot get the full benefit, if your diet is not balanced and a bad one. To get the four major benefits of exercise, avoid junk food and take healthy and nutritious food.

 

What kind of physical exercise you need and what exercise you can do, depend on each individuals body nature and physical ability. The duration also depends on one's capacity. A 20 minutes exercise routine is enough to stay healthy. You can have a longer duration depending on your physical ability. Don't strain too much and limit your exercise within your possible limits. Do your exercise at least 3 times a week to strengthen cardiovascular health. In other words you have to spend 3500 calories per week by doing any kind of physical activity. Consult your doctor to choose the best healthy diet and exercise plan that suited your physical strength of your body.

Why you need healthy diet and exercise?

While doing exercise your body needs energy. This required energy is let out into the blood from the energy nutrients stored as glucose and fatty acids. While exercising the body adjusts the fuel amount supplied. Blood pressure can be controlled through healthy diet and exercise plan. Low fat diet, proper weight loss, limited use of alcohol together with the required physical activity can effectively control hypertension. To lower blood pressure without taking medication have foods that can include sweets, beverages with sugar, fats and red meat.

 

If you are exercising to build muscle then you need more protein diet. Normally athletes will retain more protein than the average people and their body use more protein diet as fuel. The American Dietetic Association has recommended one gram/1000 kilogram of body weight for those who do not exercise al all. The athletes should take more carbohydrates along with protein diet, because if 

 

enough carbohydrates is not taken the entire stored protein will be used while exercising. After finishing exercise there will not be enough protein left for muscle building. Diet fitness is more important to muscle builders.

 

Apart from muscle building, bone health has to be given due importance. Walking, the easy to follow exercise, is good for bone health. At least go for a regular walking if you are not able to do other form of exercises. If you are interested in swimming, then go for it as it will increase the bone strength. As said earlier, exercise alone or a good diet fitness alone is not enough to maintain a healthy and strong body. Do regular exercise along with regular intake of essential vitamins and minerals through the right choice of health supplements. Eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia damage the bone strength. Regular exercise together with nutritious food will increase the bone strength and the overall health of your body.
